Your pup can join you on the back patio surrounded by soft lighting, couches and a fire pit creating a cozy feel. I am sure they won’t mind if you slip them a sampling of the delicious food too.
If your dog prefers a party atmosphere you can head on over to American Icon Brewery for some live music, lawn games, and great brews. American Icon Brewery was converted from a diesel plant into a brewpub in October 2017 and has been winning awards ever since. In 2019 they were voted Best Brewery in the Treasure Coast. Make sure to try some of their stone oven pizza and unique handcrafted beers.
Fido can also join you for brunch at Mulligans Beach House, a light lunch at Chive, seafood at Mr. Manatee’s Casual Grill, barbecue at Cafe 66, or Carribean food at Mo-Bay Grill. Many other restaurants in Vero Beach welcome your dog to join as well providing water bowls and usually a treat or two.
The dog park and dining aren’t the only things for your furry friend to enjoy in Vero Beach. There are lots of adventures to be had. Captain Forster Hammock Preserve is a great walking trail that goes from the Indian River to a pet friendly spot on the beach. A nice canopy of trees over the trail keeps you and your pooch from getting too hot along the way. Treasure Coast Cruises offer a chance for you and your dog to ride down the Indian River and take in the beautiful sights of nature. Daytime tours are available or you can grab a bottle of wine and take a stunning sunset tour.
